Christmas holidays are fun but children do not get much practice in English since their lessons come to an end for the holidays. This is a list of Christmas activities you can do with your child to keep them practicing their English vocabulary and grammar. 1. Christmas movies
This is an obvious choice for Christmas. But did you know by watching Christmas movies with English
subtitles and not Greek you get to practice your English at the same time? You both listen and read the same word and BOOM!! double the practice! Try it the next time you watch the Grinch or Santa Clause.
2. Christmas short videos on YouTube
There are a million of different Christmas shorts you and your children can watch on YouTube that will benefit them both on their English speaking skills but their vocabulary as well. Not to mention the free time it will give you to relax :). Here are few of my favourites: (simply click on the title and it will redirect you to YouTube)

3. Christmas Online Games
Kids can also practice their Vocabulary with this fun video games that you need to pause and they should give you the answer in English before you both find out the correct one. They are super fun and short so it doesn't take up too much of your time.
Here is a list of some of those games: (click on the titles and these will open in a new window)
4. FREE Christmas Scavenger Hunt
You can print this FREE scavenger Christmas Hunt pdf I have created for my students and explore your own house for Christmas things while practicing Christmas vocabulary in English. Enjoy and don't forget to leave me a comment if you liked the activity.
